Does your manager, client or company want you to show success metrics for your PR projects? If so, you’re not alone. PR practitioners are increasingly being asked to show measureable outcomes of our work.
In a profession that originally seemed more of an art but is increasingly metric-driven, how do you measure success?
It may seem challenging, but it’s not impossible and should be part of every plan. Attend this PRSA-Northeast Wisconsin workshop and learn how to design objectives that are measurable, hear about a variety of ways to measure success, and see samples of metrics from multiple disciplines.
This Measurement for PR Pros program will feature a presentation by Jim Streed, APR, owner of J Streed Communications, followed by a Q&A session featuring a panel of PR pros. Jim will present the fundamentals of PR measurement as a lead into the panel of PR practitioners who integrate metrics into their projects and daily work.
Tara Brzozowski (Director of Public Relations at Element) and Tom Schoffelman, APR (Director of Public Relations at BrandDirections) will briefly discuss how they address metrics/measurement in PR, and join Jim in answering audience questions about measurement.
This workshop is perfect for PR practitioners being asked to measure success, provide metrics, or show how your work supports business objectives. You’ll leave the program with a greater understanding of PR measurement, examples of metric-driven objectives and a list of sample measurement methods.
After Measurement for PR Pros, you’ll feel more equipped to tackle the issue of measurement. That’s a pretty big return for a luncheon program. And it’s something you can take back to your company!
