In a crowded communications landscape, simply being better isn't always enough. Sometimes, the most powerful strategy is being unmistakably different.
Join PRSA NEW for a virtual program with speaker, author and strategist David Rendall, whose unconventional approach to differentiation challenges organizations to stop hiding what makes them different and start using it to their advantage.
Drawing from more than 400 case studies featured in his book Pink Goldfish 2.0, Rendall will explore how brands can turn their unique qualities, quirks and even perceived weaknesses into competitive advantages.
For PR and communications professionals, we'll look at how meaningful differentiation can help organizations capture attention, strengthen their positioning and become more memorable. Rendall will also challenge one of our most common instincts: smoothing out the edges. What if the very things we're tempted to minimize are the things audiences are most likely to remember?
Attendees will leave with a fresh perspective on brand positioning, storytelling and differentiation, with some same-day practical ideas they can apply to their own organizations and clients.
The virtual program will conclude with an interactive Q&A with Rendall.
